VISUMAX500

VISUMAX is one of the <<1 trillionth of a second>> femtosecond laser, the only surgical equipment that can perform Smile LASIK. It is also possible to create a corneal flap during LASIK surgery. GS Eye Center uses the same VISUMAX laser as the ‘Smile LASIK’ equipment for all LASIK surgeries, believing that "We perform surgery with the best equipment for all customers".

Amaris Red is the latest excimer laser in the Amaris series lasers, which is used to cut the corneal parenchyma. Therefore, it is most commonly used for LASIK and LASEK surgery, but it is widely used to correct remaining astigmatism after cataract surgery.

VISUMax 800 laser is the only equipment that can perform ‘Smile Pro’ LASIK. Safer surgery can be performed with more advanced laser equipment than the existing Vijumax 500 laser. 'Smile Pro' LASIK performed with the Vijumax 800 laser has a surgery time of less than 9 seconds, which is the fastest among existing lenticular surgeries, significantly reducing the risk burden on patients due to long surgery times.

It is the latest model manufactured by Alcon used for phacoemulsification that dissolves and aspirates the hardened lens with ultrasound during cataract surgery. It is excellent in maintaining intraocular pressure with automatic intraocular pressure detection. Excellent outcomes can be expected by significantly reducing patient’s pain with increased speed and accuracy.

It performs phacoemulsification with laser rather than ultrasound during cataract surgery.
It is called ‘laser cataract surgery’, and lately, this equipment can also perform ‘Clear LASIK’, which works in the same principle as Smile LASIK (However, we do not perform Clear LASIK in our clinic).
